Pace’s Health Connection Launches 6th Annual Pad and Tampon Drive

Pace Community Action Agency, Inc. is inviting you to participate in our upcoming 6th Annual Pad and Tampon Drive, taking place in August and September. We are collecting menstrual care products and then will distribute what we collect to local schools to ensure access for students. 

Access to period products is a basic necessity yet remains a challenge for many in our community. The average menstruating individual uses over 10,000 menstrual products in their lifetime—an expense that is not manageable for everyone. Indiana has one of the highest rates of sales tax for menstrual products (approximately 30 states do not have any tax on these products).

Pace CEO Tai Blythe said, “We sometimes forget there are impacts to not having access to menstrual products. Of those experiencing period poverty, about 1 in 3 female students miss school due to not having access to pads or tampons. Over 40% of working women also report their ability to attend work has been impacted. The Pad and Tampon Drive is our way of raising awareness and meeting community needs.” 

We invite your support in the following ways: 

• Product Donations: Unopened menstrual products such as pads (disposable and reusable), tampons, panty liners, period panties, menstrual cups, and menstrual discs are welcome.

  • Drop-Off Locations: Health Connection clinics across our service area. Find your nearest location at www.pacecaa.org/health-connection.

  • Amazon Wish Lists: Order items to be shipped directly to one of our clinic sites.

• Financial Donations: Monetary contributions help us purchase products in bulk. Donations can be made with cash, check, or online at https://secure.qgiv.com/for/padtampondrive2026/. Every dollar goes directly to support those in need.

• Organizational Support: We encourage businesses and groups to host internal drives. Your participation will amplify the impact of our initiative and provide an opportunity for team building and community engagement. Our staff will coordinate product pickup at the end of September.
