We Educate, Empower, and Improve

Our Mission is to provide support services that improve the community and encourage self-reliance.

We are a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities and empowering individuals in Southwestern Indiana. Since our founding in 1965, we have remained committed to fighting poverty and promoting economic self-sufficiency.

We actively coordinate public, private, and corporate resources to combat poverty and reinvest over $11 million annually into our local economy through employment and the purchase of local goods and services.

We believe that lasting change begins with empowering people—one person, one family, and one community at a time.

“We witness the impact of our work every day—whether it's helping an elderly individual with their utility bills, supporting individuals in maintaining employment, inspiring a love of learning in young children, or offering access to reproductive health care. These are just a few of the meaningful ways Pace makes a difference.”
