Pace Community Action Agency, Inc. Holds Board of Director’s Meeting

Pace Community Action Agency’s Board of Directors meeting was held via Zoom at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 20th with President, Greg Jones, presiding.

The 2022 Financial Audit Report was presented to the finance committee and to the full board by Comer, Nowling & Associates from Indianapolis.  Mr. Doug Jones, auditor from Comer, Nowling, reported on the agency’s audit in detail explaining that there were no financial statement findings, no federal award findings or questioned costs for Pace or their subsidiaries.   Doug Jones stated that Pace continues to hold a high standard of excellence, and because of no findings in past years, Pace continues to qualify as a low-risk auditee.

In addition, reports were presented by Dr. Bertha Proctor, CEO; Liann Smith, Chief Financial Officer; Chief Operating Officer; Tai Blythe; Joel Smith, VP of Finance and Jeremy Wimmenauer, VP of Planning & Development. The Board also approved funding requests. 

Pace’s next regular Board of Directors’ meeting will be held in Vincennes on Thursday, September 21st, 2023 at 6:00 pm.
