Pace Announces 2026 Judy Bobe Scholarship Winners
The Judith K. Bobe Scholarship program is named in honor of Pace’s former Head Start Director who worked within the program for over 40 years. Annually, since 2007, Pace has allotted funds to provide at least two scholarships for graduating high school seniors that were previously in our Head Start program. Pace congratulates the 2026 Judith K. Bobe Scholarship recipients; Annet Montoya Meza and Bridget Embry.
• Annet Montoya Meza from Washington High School plans to pursue her studies in Kinesiology while attending the University of Southern Indiana.
• Bridget Embry from Lincoln High School plans to attend Indiana University, while pursuing her degree in Cinematic Arts.
Recipients each received a $500 scholarship to help with their educational expenses. Pace’s Chief Executive Officer, Tai Blythe states, “Our Head Start Program not only prepares students for kindergarten but prepares families for college. The impacts of Head Start are lasting for children and families.”
Former Head Start students from Daviess, Greene, Knox and Sullivan Counties are encouraged to apply for scholarships next year. For more information about Pace programs and services, call (812) 882-7927 or visit us at www.pacecaa.org.
