| Pace Community Action Agency Announces Spring Term Computer Classes
Pace Community Action Agency has received stimulus funding that has provided for upgrades to their computer learning lab. According to Bertha Proctor, Pace's CEO, “It is important that we stay current with technology. The new computers have Windows 7 operating systems, and we will provide instruction utilizing the latest version of the Microsoft Office Suite.” Computer literacy is necessary for most jobs, and participants will have the opportunity to obtain skills/competencies required for employment.
Spring term classes will begin Monday, February 1, 2010. There is no cost to enroll; however, donations are accepted to offset the cost of class material.
