| 40 Years of Service Celebration Planned for PACE's Health Connection
Health Connection of Pace Community Action Agency, Inc. is celebrating the Knox County clinic's 40th year of providing women's reproductive services. A need was recognized in our community for comprehensive women's reproductive health services, and in 1969 a Family Planning Program was established to fulfill this need. On February 10th, 2010 a celebration open house will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Health Connection, 715 Wabash Ave, Vincennes. "We want you to come and celebrate our continued success in meeting the ever-increasing need for male and female health services," said Michelle Pitcher, Health Connection Manager.
Anyone interested in men's or women's reproductive services as well as community members, former staff, and clients are all invited to the open house. A display will be available, along with handouts and brochures, and refreshments will be served. Health Connection has served thousands of women throughout its 40 years of service. Over the past 7 years, we've also provided services for many men.
