Pace Announces iPad, iPhone & iPod Touch Classes

12/8/2011

Pace Community Action Agency will be offering iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch classes.  Whether you just got a new iPad for Christmas or you have been using the iPhone for months, these classes are designed to teach you how to use your device at home, school, and on the job.  Learn tricks, tips and ways to use your “i” devices.  It is suggested that you bring your device to class.

The introductory course will cover topics such as: understanding the settings, syncing your device to iTunes, installing, deleting, sorting apps, password protecting your device, setting up email, and managing applications.

"Getting more out of your iOS applications" is a more advanced follow-up class that will cover:  in depth review of apps, iCloud, and more detailed applications.

The class schedule is:  Introduction to using your device:  January 3rd 2:00-4:00 PM or January 10th 6:00-8:00 PM.  Getting more out of your iOS applications:  January 5th   6:00-8:00 PM or January 12th 2:00-4:00 PM.

For more information, or to reserve your spot, call Chris Clinton at (812) 882-7927 ext. 1258.  The cost of each class will be $15 per person.  Advance payment is required to enroll. Credit cards preferred, checks accepted.  Classes with participation of less than 10 may be rescheduled.
