Pace Community Action Agency Holds Board of Director’s Meeting

Pace Community Action Agency’s Board of Directors meeting was held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Holiday Inn Express with President Jim Jones presiding.   

Eddie Hammond, Pastor of Crossroads Community Church was installed as a new board member, representing the Private Sector in Sullivan County.

The Board approved items for grant submission, along with The 2011 Grantee Plan Packet Assessment Tool and 2011 Strategic Plan progress.  The Plan Packet is a tool implemented by the State of Indiana for the Community Action Agencies.  This tool identifies strengths within an agency as well as areas for improvement. 

Other reports were presented by Bertha Proctor, Chief Executive Officer; Lori Williams, Chief Operating Office; Liann Smith, Chief Financial Officer; and Joel Smith, VP of Finance.  Pace’s next Board of Directors’ meeting will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011.
