Washington Head Start Receives Level Three Paths to Quality Rating

Washington Head Start Site Manager, Kerry Kroeger is excited to announce that the Washington Head Start program has received the honor of a Level Three Paths to Quality Rating.  This rating means that Washington Head Start has successfully met Indiana’s requirements for creating an environment that supports children’s learning.

Level 3 Licensed Child Care Centers must:

• Implement a planned curriculum that addresses the stages of child development
• Demonstrate professional growth of Director and staff in excess of licensing requirements
• Facilitate family and staff input into the program
• Establish a strategic plan

“All requirements were easily met by our highly qualified and dedicated staff,” states Kroeger.  All community members are invited to come and visit the newly rated school to see for themselves the excellent learning facility located at 2103 Cosby Road in Washington.
